Big Birthday Bash

The Society helped the Lincolnshire Co-operative Society to celebrate its 150th birthday at the 'Big Birthday Bash' on 3 September 2011 at Lincolnshire Showground.

A number of vehicles owned by the Society, members and friends formed a display, the centre-piece of which was Lincoln 73, our 1973 Bristol RE / Alexander which returned to the road after 20 years' absence earlier this year following a restoration by the Co-op's Transport team as a community donation.

Two Morris Co-op vans were also part of the display, and some of our buses offered short rides to visitors.
