Many thanks to the vehicle owners, volunteers and all the visitors who made our Autumn Transport Festival happen - another successful event with around 1,000 visitors.

A selection of cars and buses from the Museum's collection, along with guest buses and coaches, took to the road for the day, and a healthy number of visiting cars, buses and commercial vehicles were on display around the Museum. Bus services included our traditional Lincoln City Centre service, a country bus route to the Natural World Centre at Whisby and a variety of 'tour' departures.

The event saw the Society's two long term bus restoration projects, ONO 59 (1949 Bristol K5G) and FHN 833 (1940 Bristol L5G) operate their first 'service' journeys since 1966 and 1963 respectively.

A list of the cars and buses that were on the road can be seen here.
