We are most grateful to the owners of visiting vehicles. Please respect these historic vehicles which are restored and maintained as a hobby. Please keep children in touch and under control and do not eat, drink or smoke on the vehicles. Thank you
A running schedule, showing which journeys each vehicle is scheduled to operate, will be available on the day with the event programme - this goes to press quite late before the event, and thus is not available in advance. Some vehicles will be 'in service' for most of the day, others (especially those coming some distance) may only operate one or two journeys. Some vehicles may operate unscheduled journeys limited to 8 passengers for licensing reasons.
LVVS and the owners of these vehicles will make every effort to run these vehicles 'in service' on the day, and to run in accordance with the schedule, but we can not give an absolute guarantee about the operation of any vehicle, and we reserve the right to substitute buses as necessary to keep the timetabled service running.
Also, please be aware that the historic vehicles in operation were not designed to carry wheelchairs or unfolded push-chairs, but many will have traditional bus conductors, who will be happy to offer what assistance they can.
