The 'Castle Rally' is our main annual event for cars, motorycles and small commercial vehicles, held in the grounds of Lincoln Castle, in the heart of the City's historic Cathedral Quarter. We look forward to welcoming you to Lincoln Castle on the day, and are most grateful to Lincolnshire County Council and the staff at the Castle for their co-operation with the event.

There will be a chance to travel on one of the buses from our collection and make a visit to our Museum during the day.

Visitors

Normal admission charges to Lincoln Castle apply for visitors on the day. The Castle is open from 10.00 am.

Pedestrian entrance is via either the Castle Hill or Westgate entrance, and there are a number of car parks in the area, including Westgate and at The Lawns, Union Road. Plan a route to Westgate / Union Road with Transport Direct (post code LN1 3BG)

Alternatively, the Castle entrance is not far from the Bailgate / Radio Lincolnshire bus stop, served by Stagecoach Lincolnshirebus routes 17 / 18 from the City Centre and northern suburbs of Lincoln. The Castle Hill entrance is served by the Walk and Ride bus service (timetable opens as a PDF document) from the City Centre, this operates from 12.00 noon onwards on Sundays.

Vehicle entries must be booked in advance, as the site capacity is limited. An entry form can be downloaded here (opens as PDF file - requires 'Acrobat Reader' or similar program) or if you would like a form sending by post, please contact us.
