DVL 577 1949 Bedford MLD Lorry

Part of the popular Bedford range of commercial vehicles, DVL 577 is a 2/3 ton lorry powered by the 28hp 6-cylinder petrol engine.

Originally purchased from Charles Warner by C Pratt and Son, wine and spirit merchants, it spent its entire working life in and around Lincoln with this company, making deliveries to the Lincoln licensed trade. It ceased work in the late in the late 1960's and stored until it was purchased for preservation in 1987.
