SOLD - 1982 Leyland 'Leopard' AVL 745X

With the new building now
complete, we are putting ex LRCC 1456 (AVL 745X) up for disposal and wonder if
anyone will be interested in restoring this ECW B51 bodied Leyland Leopard
coach originally used on National Express duties, or could find it useful to
assist with a similar restoration.
Pictures of the coach in service can be seen at the Bus, Tram & Trolleybus Archive (NBC 'white coach' livery) and National Bus Company : 1970 - 1986 (silver 'Lincolnshire Coaches' livery) galleries on Fotopic.
We bought this engineless, seatless coach for a store several years ago and it is in a dilapidated condition, sorry to say. We have to clear this out internally before too long, so anyone seriously interested please get in touch.
UPDATE 1 June 2010 - The Leopard has now departed, and will provide a source of spares for former Oxford / South Midland Leopard VUD 30X which is currently under restoration.
